Wellbeing Mindfulness

Be Mindful Yoga Auckland

SimplyB tailor-made programs use Mindfulness, Yoga, Mental Fitness, and Mindset Coaching to support all clients.

Our systems are based on three steps:

AWARENESS, ASSURANCE and ACTION.

Working together, we help you to discover a greater understanding of how your mind and body work together. We create tangible strategies and tools to make changes that allow you to achieve more, while becoming more present or simply, being.

The latest findings in neuroscience show us that sustainable change only happens when our brain creates new neuropathways that turn new learning into supporting thoughts, mindsets or behaviour. The desired state of ease and calmness, while being motivated and energised does not magically appear after reading a book on the topic or listening to a podcast.

To establish and maintain those new neuropathways, our brain needs gentle and systematic practice for our mind so you can flourish in life and work with ease, as opposed to languishing while feeling under constant pressure.

Mel works with leaders in the field of Professional and Personal Development to deliver programs that work for you.

“This is your time”

“Mel’s class provided a secure space for me to recover the “simply me” that was forgotten under layers of every day routines. Every time she would start the class with the words: “Arrive in this room. This is your time,” I would just let go of all today’s, yesterday’s and tomorrow’s tasks and be in the here and now and only for me. To me Yoga is a mental and physical interplay – the mental mobilization through playful meditative practice and the subsequent build-up and release of physical force through Yoga positions.”

“Amazing Mel”

“I had developed a limp … which I’d read is a problem within itself. The knee surgeon (s) had given me options of a full knee and half knee replacement but I felt I was limping before feeling any actual pain .. almost like I was pre-empting pain when I walked. I told Mel. I attended some group yoga and more importantly some private sessions … it has changed my life. My limping stopped👌❤️

I now know not to limp and how to control my thought pattern, how to give my body a chance to tell me when I need to stop and recognise it’s sore instead of limping in case it’s painful! Mel’s visits were over two years ago and I’ve been walking my dogs every day since , doing my gym work and using natural anti-inflammatory creams if needed. I wish I lived on Waiheke permanently as I would then still visit Mel regularly, but I go when I’m there if I can.”
