Yoga for You
Yoga for You is a more gentle approach of Yoga with focus on healthy posture and finding balance in life. During the 90 minute lesson there will be a gentle warm and lying down relaxation. We do this to connect body and mind for an optimal benefit of the lesson. In the postures that follow, we gradually move our way up to sitting postures, kneeling or standing including chanting, breathing awareness and meditation. This class is beneficial to both beginners at yoga and women who feel that alignment and relaxation is as important as the physical challenge.
Dynamic Yoga is a physically demanding class incorporating Yoga Flow and Relaxation. We alternate between demanding postures (where we experience increased heartbeat and activation of nervous system) and relaxation periods (where we calm down our system of body and mind). Through this constant change we train ourselves to cope with the demands of daily life, where we need to rush and deliver quick results and then at any given time relaxation, when we are still “too busy” to actually calm down. Through this practice we can change in order to benefit from the excitement of life and the ability to restore energy. Hormone Yoga Therapie after Dinah Rodrigues
Hormone Yoga Therapy is a natural treatment that eliminates most symptoms of menopause, for example hair loss, weight gain and emotional instability. Regularly performing Hormone Yoga Therapy increases the estradiol level, so it helps in the prevention of osteoporose and cardio-vascular diseases. Very good results have been shown to reverse symptoms of premature menopause. HYT can under no circumstances be performed by woman who were diagnosed with hormone related cancer – in that case other forms of Yoga can be beneficial. Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) is a series of special exercises along the line of energetic Yoga to reactivate hormone production though its unique system of dynamic exercises and breathing, visualisation and relaxation. Hormone Yoga Therapie is recommended for every woman from 35 years of age to keep the hormone production stable or for younger woman who need to increase their hormone level. The necessary theory and practice will be taught in a 6-week workshop of 2,5 hours each. After completion of the workshop an open practice course is available. Yoga in Pregnancy – Pre – Natal Yoga
Aim of this course is to bond with the unborn baby, practice breathing techniques that help during labour, find relaxation and gain energy,to strengthen parts of the body that suffer from postural changes during pregnancy, find solutions for pain during pregnancy and labour, enhance overall wellbeing through movement and meditation. Melanie is an experienced Yoga Teacher and Mother of 4 children. Please contact Melanie if you are interested to start a course or individual tuition as there is no course scheduled at the moment.

Private Lessons are available upon request. We will talk about the personal aim for the lessons and special requirements. I am usually developing a sequence after a few lessons for the individual student that can be practiced at home as well and I will give a handout so you have something to remind you. In the lessons the personal sequence is taught and progress monitored. Small private groups also possible upon request.
