Mr B left New Zealand to go on his OE (overseas experience) with a backpack and £500. 20 years later he is returning with 5 extra people! His wife, Mrs B and his 4 little B’s.

Up until recently, Mr and Mrs B lived in Europe with their 4 little B’s – where there’s way too much everyday stress, with people too busy thinking about tomorrow and not enjoying the here and now. People consuming products with too many ingredients that can’t even be pronounced and you don’t know where they come from.

Wishing to turn a dream into reality, they bought a large run-down 9 acre property online from Amsterdam without having seen it (Mr B did know that the area was beautiful though)! Mrs B must really love him!! Anyway, they left their jobs behind and set off to create an oasis with their family.

It’s on Waiheke Island, a 35 minute ferry from Auckland city and home to some of the most beautiful beaches and fabulous vineyards.

Here they planted 600 olive trees, an orchard and a veggie garden. They also undertook a huge reforestation programme and planted over 4000 native New Zealand trees.

Now, after several years of hard work, they have created the Simply B. A place for our family and guests to Simply B!

And now they’re as busy as bees 😉 and offer lots of things you’ll love.
